Who are you?

pfEagle is a premade portfolio/résumé script that you can use by registering for free. Using pfEagle, you can quickly make a website displaying your abilities and experiences and show them to a client or company.

What do you provide?

Upon registration, you have access to numerous features. You can upload images or text files and display them in content pages (that you make) with easy-to-use tags, customize the looks of your website, and much more! See the features overview for more information.

How will this help me?

When you see a freelance job listing, it is very beneficial to be able to showcase your work in a portfolio rather than sending the client numerous URLs. Put yourself in the client's shoes -- would you be more interested in a bunch of URLs, or just one URL containing all the work showcased neatly? Rhetorical question, but the latter is obviously the answer. If you don't have the time to make one yourself, pfEagle is your solution.

Also, if you are writing a résumé, it is always good to include a web site address. Some employers (depending on the position you're applying to) will look at it, and if you simply cannot afford the time to make one on your own, why not register and use a premade portfolio script that's completely customizable?

Shouldn't one create their own portfolios?

pfEagle allows for complete template editing using the Smarty Template Engine. This means that designers will be able to design their own portfolios with their own images and enjoy the benefit of dynamically updating their portfolios without having to program at all. Programmers would also be allowed to upload and display code for visitors to see. They have the benefit of using a sleek, fast, and simple default design while displaying pieces of their code in a dynamic fasion.

Are there any catches?

We will never ever put any advertisements on your portfolio. The only thing we require from your portfolio is a link back to us, which could be anywhere you want it to be (you can fully customize the portfolio), and any size (as long as it's readable).

As far as rules go -- the bottom line is: use the space we give you for your portfolio and only your portfolio. As long as you don't use it for other reasons (such as simple storage space), you won't have any problems. See the terms of use for more information.
